Raw Brick and Stone: Use your imagination; perhaps a stone-back splash or a brick-faced center island. And consider adding naturals to the exterior of your home.

Colors, Textures, and Accessories: Bright white walls work nicely with wood, stone, and metals. Then accessorize with pops of color – pillows, lamps, lots of plants. Include grandmother’s quilt and needlepoint along with painted furniture that you have ruffed up a little with sandpaper. Rustic old tables can be paired with mid-century modern chairs. Add a bay window with a window seat and a built-in bench in the foyer or mudroom. You might find what you’re looking for at garage sales and used furniture stores.

    I need some help to make and hang floating shelves.
    1. Six shelves Preferred size is 2-3” tall, 36” ( + 1-2 extra inches to mount inside the wall)
    2. Two 51” shelves ( also 1-2” for mounting into the wall)
